Elementary and Middle School Applications for the 2010-2011 STEM Academies will be available on Friday, January 15, 2010.  Applications will be accepted from Monday, January 18, 2010 until Friday, March 19, 2010.  (High School Applications will be available at a later date to coincide with high school orientation sessions.)

Students wishing to enroll in the program will complete an application packet and submit it electronically by March 19, 2010. Each application will be reviewed by an admissions team comprised of educators, administrators, and foundation members who will, in turn, make recommendations to the academy for accepting members into the program.   

Candidates will be evaluated based on their past academic performance, dedication to advanced learning, and their desire to pursue STEM careers.

Please Note:  Students who have previously applied and are on a waiting list need to reapply to maintain waitlist status.  Current STEM Academy Students in grades 4, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11 do not need to reapply.

Applicants will be notified of their acceptance "status" (accepted, wait listed, no openings)  by April 30, 2010 . Applicants may not receive notice of final acceptance into the STEM 5 through STEM 12 Academies until June to allow for all testing/performance data to be received and evaluated.
